- TLDR ~ DO.. NOT.. BUY.. ISK… It is against the EVE Online Terms of Service. That includes isk bought from sites linked in my Google Ad bars. (I looked into trying to block them, not possible)
- Long Version ~ You no doubt will
see the in-game rookie help channel flooded with spam regarding
the buying of ISK.
DO NOT buy ISK (or items) from these web sites. It is against the CPP Terms of Service. It's likely CPP will simply take it all away; and anything you bought with it!
However, it is possible to buy ISK. But the proper CPP sanctioned method to buying ISK, is a two step process that involves:
1) Buying Eve Time Cards.
2) Exchanging the time card for ISK.

EVEMonIf you are wondering if this program is actually worth using, I'm not going to go into a big long speech about how useful it is, or how much time and effort it will save you.
I will simply say, that I personally estimate that over 90% of the player base uses it, and leave it at that. (Although it only runs on Windows.)

Now on to dispensing actual useful info. Like, how to use said program.
· First you will need to obtain your API key (and user id).
· Then open the program and go to File => Add Character.
· Fill in your user id / api key, and select the character from your account.
· Then go to plans => new. Enter the new plan's name.
· And start adding ships, modules, and certificates that you think will match you carrer path.
· It bears mentioning, the option of adding learning skills into the plan, to speed up future skill training.
· Also of note, is that EVEMon is only a planning tool. You still have to add skills to the Skill Queue in game.
