*TLDR means: Too Long, Didn't Read
TLDR ~ DO.. NOT.. BUY.. ISK…  It is against the EVE Online Terms of Service.  That includes isk bought from sites linked in my Google Ad bars. (I looked into trying to block them, not possible)
Long Version ~ You no doubt will see the in-game rookie help channel flooded with spam regarding the buying of ISK.
DO NOT buy ISK (or items) from these web sites.  It is against the CPP Terms of Service.  It's likely CPP will simply take it all away; and anything you bought with it!
However, it is possible to buy ISK.  But the proper CPP sanctioned method to buying ISK, is a two step process that involves:
1) Buying Eve Time Cards.
2) Exchanging the time card for ISK.

You can read more about how to properly Buy ISK here.

TLDR ~ If you can, please link to this site from your personal web site(s), and/or with social networking account(s).  (FaceBook, Twitter, etc)
Long Version ~ The primary factor that Google and other search engines use to determine if a site is any good, is by how many people link to it.
By linking to my site from your personal web site(s) or social networking account(s), you are helping make this information available to other novice players.
You can use one of the links found in the 'Social Linkbox' that I have placed on most pages. (they look like this) Bookmark and Share

Or, if you are adding a link onto a website that you own,
please use the following html code.

Why Use Them?

In most cases multi-month direct subscriptions are the most economical payment method.  Again, depending on the value of your local currency.
So why would you want to use a PLEX on your own account, instead of using it to buy isk?

Well, you will get two PLEXes when you convert them from a game time code.  So you may decide to buy ISK with one, and consume the second.  Or perhaps you received a time card as a gift.

How To Use Them

In order to use the PLEX to add time to your account, right click on the PLEX item while it is located in your personal hangar and select "Apply 30 day pilots license".
Please note that PLEXes cannot be activated while located in corporate hangars or in a container.

PLEX can be used by players regardless of the type of account they have.  When you activate a PLEX, the extra time is added to your account immediately.  In this respect, PLEX works exactly like a prepaid game card.

  • If you are currently using a Trial account, your account is converted to a paying account and the 30 days are added onto the remaining days left in your trial period.  You don't lose any time from your trial period
  • If you have a recurring subscription, the 30 days are added onto your account and billing resumes as normal after that time.
  • If you use game time codes to pay for EVE, a PLEX will add days to your game time in exactly the same way.

The item will disappear from the hangar floor and a notification about the 30 days being added will be shown.
